Sorry for the delay in-between posts. I’ve had a huge shift in life that has taken me a different direction – I got a new job! So, during the day I spend my time determining various e-Commerce strategies and reworking html. Doesn’t that sound fun? Sadly – this nerd loves it.

I also love photographing children (and seniors!). I thought I would post a few sneaks of a recent session at a local pumpkin farm. I have more to rework but have been getting home late. This whole “downtown working” has really messed with my schedule but I’ll get used to it, soon.

Twins are quite possibly the most difficult to get to sit together. I think after 9 months in the womb, they're kind of over having to share space. LOL!

Kylie has some of the most expressive facial expressions for a little one. I could just num num on her cheeks!

Of course, I have plenty more coming of these gorgeous kids, but only have time to post a few sneaks.

That also reminds me – it’s getting SUPER close to the holidays so if you’re looking for family photography, please give me a call or drop me a line via e-mail. My open times are on the weekends and since I’m a location photographer, weather and temperature are big variables. But, nothing beats natural light for great photos.

David – Cincinnati Senior Photographer

David is one of those kids that you meet and he instantly charms you. He’s funny, is a good student, a total band geek (former band geek here!) and doesn’t take things too seriously. He brought quite a few outfits and his hat – which I thought fit him perfectly. Normally, he walks around will a full hair of curly blonde-hair but cut it the morning of our shoot. I nearly had a heart attack. I told him I was expecting to photograph that great hair (think Napoleon Dynamite) only to show up and it be all gone. I think it’s part of his “grown up” look. Oh well…they still turned out perfectly!

Everything about this shot was perfect. Down to his "St. Louis Blues" look he wanted.

A genuine laugh here - I had to keep shouting "Teeth" to get him to have a full smile. So, I resorted to jokes.

Hey ladies - I think he might be single right now. I have his 411. Ha!

This is his Panama Jack look. I did some wild finishing on this but he also has them in what most refer to as "normal". LOL!

Thanks David for being so great in front of the camera. And, be proud to be a band geek! It’s an awesome “club” to be in!

Cody – Cincinnati Senior Photographer

Earlier this summer I got to photograph Cody. Not only is he my cousin, and a darn good kid, but he was great for the camera. We had a lot of fun – I promised him we’d have great photos in the end!

Christian was one amazing kid! He was hilarious, super talented (he played me a few songs that he wrote with his band and I was BLOWN away) and managed to charm my 9 year old daughter who accompanied me on the shoot. (She might be crushing now!) We had an absolute blast and his session lasted four hours because we found an old abandoned factory and took a tour to get some great shots.

Of course, 4 hours of squatting and climbing later, I’m so sore I can’t see straight. But, it’s ok. It’s worth it for the great photos. These are just the initial shots. More are coming!

A Family of Girls

This is Robyn and her three beautiful little girls. She takes care of them all on her own with the help of her family and they are just gorgeous little ones. The twins are absolutely hilarious because of their opposite personalities and their big sister, Ryan, is an true photogenic beauty. I had so much fun with them on a Saturday morning.

Here are the girls with their momma - they are an amazing little family.

I just love capturing kids in their element. Playing, laughing, jumping – the whole nine yards. It’s always important to stop and get that family photo. You never know when you’ll lose the opportunity.

Paige is a GORGEOUS senior. We went out for two separate sessions and had so much fun driving around Cincinnati finding different places to shoot her photos. I could tell by the end of our session that Paige realized she could totally work the camera and we were able to capture some fabulous pics. I’m sure her parents are going to have a hard time choosing which ones they want. Fortunately, they have a disk full!
